We are a relaxed backpacker place with a family-like atmosphere. Our customers love our cosy lounge, well-equipped kitchen, sunny terrace and garden with an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue pit. We cater to both long-term and short-term travellers.

Our hostel is conveniently located in Windhoek West within a 10-minute walk from downtown. If you want to stay in the neighbourhood, there are two small supermarkets, an ATM and a restaurant nearby. Welcome to enjoy good company!

You can book your tours from us in Windhoek and elsewhere in Namibia. The tours range from day excursions to long tours, and include major national parks and natural wonders.

If you are interested in an internship in Namibia, we can help you to find a place. We do not charge any fees as it is our opinion that one should not pay for voluntary work.

Transport

Book your transport to and from the airport with us. We work with the most reliable chauffers who are also happy to take you to excursions in Windhoek and the surroundings.

About Christina Schulz

Christina Schulz

The owner and manager Christina Schulz, a German architect and a designer, established the hostel in 2007. She has lived more than 15 years in Windhoek and travelled extensively in Africa. Christina is happy to share her local knowledge and travel stories with hostel guests. She speaks fluent English, German and Spanish.
